Meet Our Summer Interns!

Boston, MA - We are thrilled to introduce our newest interns at KB Fashion Productions! Both ladies are extremely talented and dedicated students from Lasell University and we could not be more happy to welcome them to the KBFP team. Read on to learn more about Victoria and Sofia!

VICTORIA C.

What are you studying at Lasell University?

I'm majoring in Fashion and Retail Merchandising and minoring in Graphic Design.

What is the best part about getting a fashion degree at Lasell University?

The best part about getting a fashion degree at Lasell is definitely the community aspect of the program. The School of Fashion at Lasell really keeps their students at the forefront of all their decisions, and I am so lucky to spend time with and learn from other students, professors, and brilliant professionals in the industry.

What made you want to pursue a career in the fashion industry?

I had an eye for fashion ever since I was a kid. I had to wear uniforms in elementary school, and would count down the days until I could wear "street clothes". While other kids wore PJs to school, I was always in my best dress. Ever since then, I just knew I was made for the fashion world!

What's your dream job?

I would love to be Creative Director of a brand.

What are some your hobbies or favorite actives?

I love running, yoga, cooking and reading.

What TV show are you binging right now?

Mad Men! It can be intense, but I stick around for the drama and amazing wardrobe!

What is your favorite fashion moment?

My favorite fashion moment was when JLO graced the red carpet at the 2000 Grammy Awards in the *iconic* Versace dress! This moment became even sweeter after seeing her rock a reincarnated version two decades later in the Spring 2020 show.

SOFIA G.

What are you studying at Lasell University?

I'm majoring in Fashion Merchandising & Retail and Minoring in Graphic Design.

What is the best part about getting a fashion degree at Lasell University?

Lasell has given me the opportunity to see and learn about all aspects of the fashion industry. Also, the professors really strive to see you not only understand the topic, but also give you the opportunity to experience it. The professors have helped me reach my goals and have been there every step of the way. I have made so many relationships and connections that will last a lifetime.

What made you want to pursue a career in the fashion industry?

I have always had a love for fashion. Growing up in an Italian family, appearances and first impressions are a huge part of our culture. Almost every summer, I would travel to Italy with my family and it amazed me how different and unique the styles were compared to the US. This kind of cultural diversity expressed through fashion is a huge part of my love for fashion and the industry.

What's your dream job?

My dream is to work and live in NYC and be able to travel around the world. I would love a job in the visual aspect of the fashion industry.

What are some your hobbies or favorite actives?

Gymnastics! I did gymnastics from age 5-18 and now I coach my local high school gymnastics team.

What TV show are you binging right now?

I'm rewatching The Office.

What is your favorite fashion moment?

My favorite fashion moment was Louis Vuitton's first runway show with Virgil Abloh at the helm because his aesthetic and creativity changed the way Louis Vuitton was portrayed, while honoring the brand's world-renowned reputation. This is also a very personal moment for me because I was studying in Paris at the time and was able to visit backstage with some other Lasell students while everything was getting set up. Seeing how this show came to be was an amazing experience.
